Mixed media with art resin. Each work is 12 x 16 inches
Witness works portray the interconnected elements of Fire, Water, Home, and Loss. Each piece has layers of (tinted or clear) epoxy resin which flow upon the elusive shapes of Taharti’s homestead, meadow, forest, hills, and Narcosli Creek’s meandering waterway. Interspersed within the resin layers are fragments of text and line drawings which diarize Judith’s heartfelt observations. Viewers are urged to look beneath the surface of the energy suffused works in a collaborative search for understanding and hope with which to nurture sustainable actions for our troubled Earth.
